Restaurant-quality event catering, tailored for you

It all starts with an idea – your idea. At Hardy’s Events and Catering, we don’t provide you with a list of choices for your menu – that’s not how your big day is supposed to work. We will have a little chat with you over the phone and discuss what you want for your wedding.

You might have a specific dish that means something to you both. You might love a particular style of cuisine that reminds you of your honeymoon. You may have something as simple as a favourite ingredient.

Whatever your starting point, we use that as our foundation on which we will construct a menu that is as unique and exceptional as your relationship.

The taste test

Once we’ve come up with some ideas for your wedding menu, we’ll invite you to our home in Oxton on the Wirral peninsula. Here we get to chat a little more about your wedding, while Matt produces a sampler of your menu in our own kitchen. Only once you’re satisfied with the food we’ve put together do we expect you to commit to the booking.

Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients

We get all our ingredients from local suppliers, whenever we can. These are people we have worked alongside for years and who we know we can trust for the quality of their produce. If you have a particular ingredient you wish us to include – a favourite cheese, perhaps, or a specific variety of vegetable – let us know, and we will see what we can do.

The Big Tipi of Love

If you want more than a wedding catering service, you can always hire one or more of our wedding tipis. Beautifully presented with flooring and lighting, our tipis come with your choice of decoration and furnishings to match the theme of your wedding.

The Big Dub of Love

Our ‘Big Dubs’ are the pair of vintage VW camper vans we’ve had converted into street food trucks. They’re a great way to add a fun touch to any wedding, whether as an outdoor food stall, a mobile bar service, or just as a touch of retro cool.

While it should go without saying, here at Hardy’s Events and Catering we’re all about spreading the love. We cater for any kind of religious and secular weddings, as well as civil partnerships and commitment ceremonies.
