Here at Hardy’s Events and Catering, we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of the food and service we provide to our customers.

We’ve catered weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, corporate events, and received wonderful reviews.Many of our former customers go on to book us over and over again.

The biggest no-brainer

Choosing Hardy’s to cater our wedding was the biggest no-brainer out of all our various wedding suppliers. We spoke to 4 other caterers and with all of them there were compromises to be made – both on price and the menu. We were a little disheartened by the time Lou and Matt invited us to their home for our first meeting. We were quickly encouraged when Matt cooked a selection of delicious dishes for us (despite the fact we hadn’t even had a quote, never mind committed to using them). Rather than present us with a ’take it or leave it’ choice of dishes, they talked to us about the kind of food and flavours we love and helped us devise our perfect menu…which was also bang on budget. We went to their house a couple more times for tastings which were definite highlights of our wedding prep. As well as providing the best service, the tastiest bespoke menu and the best value for money, they are also very lovely and laid back people who genuinely cared about helping make our wedding as special as possible. The food and service on the day was excellent and lots of our guests commented on how great the food was. My only regret is that I didn’t have a burger in the evening because I was too busy rocking out to 80’s power ballads. No matter the size of your wedding, the type of venue or your taste in food, I have no hesitation at all in giving Hardy’s the strongest recommendation.

Above and beyond

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to express our huge gratitude at what you, Matt and your team did for us on our wedding day. We honestly can’t thank you enough for bringing our vision to life and helping us create the relaxed, informal, homely feel of the whole day.

From when we first met you guys to the actual day, both you and Matt have been a huge support and it was so helpful to know that we didn’t need to worry about the food or the service. You delivered everything we’d planned and more!! Having you on site ALL day meant that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. From the cherry tomato lollipops, croquetas and black pudding bon bons to the fillet steaks (for the chosen few) and the sharing meat and veg platters, nothing could be faulted. You went above and beyond and for that we can’t thank you enough.

Having the big Dub on site really made the difference in the serving of the evening food and a great photograph opportunity! So in short, we loved it all!!

One question… when are you moving in and becoming our personal chef/life planner 😂!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Matt and team yesterday and yourself for organising. Your food was a massive hit, everything was absolutely delicious and everything was served with a smile and lots of friendliness.

Our day run perfectly

Thanks very much for everything on Friday, we’ve had quite a few comments about how nice the food was, and we appreciate all the effort you and the team went through to help our day run perfectly!

As typical with these things, I didn’t get to enjoy any as I kept getting distracted in conversations and being led elsewhere! Gutted!!!
